1.5.1 PIPEDA
The Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) is the federal privacy law for private-sector organizations. It sets out the ground rules for how businesses must handle personal information in the course of commercial activity.

1.5.2 The Privacy Code of the Canadian Real Estate Association
This company must follow PIPEDA requirements. We are a member of the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) and adheres to and abides by the principles set out in the CREA Privacy Code. All employees and salespeople associated with this company must sign an acknowledgement that they will comply with the requirements of the Privacy Code.
1.5.3 Privacy Code Statement
This company only collects personal information necessary to effectively market and sell the property to sellers, to locate, assess, and qualify properties for buyers, and to otherwise provide professional and competent real estate services to clients and customers. This company follows and complies with the Privacy Code outlined by PIPEDA and in relation privacy of the CREA. All salespeople and staff are responsible for complying with the Privacy Code.
